More Utah Residents Sued By LHF Productions for “London has Fallen” Movie Downloads – Tips and Legal Information

LHF Productions, Inc. the copyright holder of the movie “London Has Fallen” starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart, has begun suing Utah Comcast and Centurylink users for allegedly downloading the movie for free. The company is suing nearly 200 Utah residents who use Comcast and CenturyLink internet service.

The next step in these cases are for LHF Productions, Inc. to issue subpoenas to Comcast and CenturyLink to reveal the names of numerous unnamed defendants who allegedly illegally downloaded the movie using file-sharing software like BitTorrent. Comcast sends letters but CenturyLink is sending emails to customers.
