ME2 Productions Sues Indiana Comcast Cable Internet Subscribers for Downloading Mechanic: Resurrection Movie
ME2 Productions Inc. , the copyright holder of the movie “Mechanic: Resurrection” starring Jason Statham, Jessica Alba, and Tommy Lee Jones has started suing Comcast Cable internet subscribers in Indiana federal court alleging they illegally downloaded the movie for free.
The movie’s plot involves rescuing Jessica Alba’s character when she is kidnapped. The two initial lawsuits are:
- ME2 Productions, Inc v. Does 1-10 3:16-cv-00695-PPS-MGG
- ME2 Productions, Inc v. Does 1-11 3:16-cv-00697-TLS-MGG
Both cases are in the Northern District of Indiana federal court.
