Strike 3 Holdings Wisconsin Filings: 7 New Cases (Sept. 30, 2026)
Strike 3 Holdings Wisconsin filings include 7 new John Doe copyright lawsuits filed on September 30, 2026.
Two of the Strike 3 Holdings Wisconsin Lawsuits Already Ordered Subpoena to the ISP
As of October 16, 2026, two of those motions have been granted. Judge Brett H. Ludwig granted the motion in 2:26-cv-01795 on October 6, 2026, finding that Strike 3 had shown good cause to serve a limited subpoena on Spectrum to learn the subscriber’s identity. Chief Judge Pamela Pepper granted the motion in 2:26-cv-01797 on October 15, 2026. Her order allows Strike 3 to serve AT&T Internet with a subpoena for the true name and address of the subscriber assigned the IP address listed in the complaint, and says the information may be used only to protect and enforce the rights claimed in the complaint.
All 7 Strike 3 Holdings Wisconsin filings are in the Eastern District of Wisconsin (Milwaukee courthouse location, docket numbers starting with 2:). Each complaint names the defendant only by an IP address. Antonelli Law® has represented clients across Wisconsin in these federal copyright cases.
Nothing in these court documents shows that the account holder downloaded anything.

What usually happens next
A complaint filed in court does not mean a letter goes out that day. Strike 3 Holdings first asks the judge for permission to serve a subpoena on the internet provider before the usual discovery conference. If the judge allows it, the provider writes to its subscriber, usually with the case number, the IP address, and a date. That date is normally the provider’s own date for responding to the subpoena. It is not a deadline to answer a complaint that names you. Orders and timing vary by judge, so read your letter carefully. Subpoena timing is covered on its own page: Strike 3 Holdings ISP subpoena orders.
The person who pays the internet bill may not be the person who used the connection. A housemate, guest, family member, or someone on an open network can share the same IP address.
What you can do
- Keep the provider’s letter and the envelope or email it came in.
- Write down the docket number and the date on the letter.
- Do not contact Strike 3 Holdings or its lawyers yourself before you understand your options.
- Do not delete files or change equipment in a way that could look like destroying evidence.

All 7 complaints were signed by the same attorney, Jeremy J. Thompson of The Law Office of Jeremy J. Thompson PLLC in Edina, Minnesota, and all are dated September 30, 2026. The complaints use essentially the same template. The differences are the ISP name and the IP address. Each complaint lists the brands Blacked, Blacked Raw, MILFY, Slayed, Tushy, Tushy Raw, Vixen, and Wifey, and refers to Maxmind for IP location.

What the Exhibit A records show
The 7 Exhibit A attachments list 312 works in total. Individual cases range from 31 to 105 works. Exhibit A lists file hashes, recorded times, and brand names. It does not list film titles.
The recorded periods vary widely. One Milwaukee Spectrum case (2:26-cv-01801) lists all 105 works within five days in mid-September 2026, and 91 of them on a single day. The Brookfield case (2:26-cv-01797) covers about ten days in August 2026. The Oak Creek case (2:26-cv-01799) goes back to November 2025, and the West Bend case (2:26-cv-01798) to January 2026. The most recent recorded activity in each case was roughly two to six weeks before the September 30 filing date.
The brands differ from case to case. The West Bend Exhibit A is almost entirely Slayed titles (29 of 31). The Brookfield Exhibit A lists only Tushy and Tushy Raw. The 2:26-cv-01801 Exhibit A is almost entirely Blacked Raw. Recorded times come from the plaintiff’s monitoring logs. They do not show who was at a device.
Of the 300 distinct file hashes across all 7 cases, 11 appear in more than one case. Six are shared among the Mequon, Milwaukee (2:26-cv-01796), and Brookfield cases, and five are shared between the Oak Creek and Fond du Lac cases. Popular files show up in more than one case. Shared files by themselves do not mean the Does are connected.
Who is handling these cases – The Judges
The 7 cases were spread across several judges in the Milwaukee courthouse rather than assigned as one related group. Judge Lynn S. Adelman has three (2:26-cv-01798, 01800, and 01801). Judge Brett H. Ludwig has 2:26-cv-01795, Chief Judge Pamela Pepper has 2:26-cv-01797, Judge J.P. Stadtmueller has 2:26-cv-01799, and Magistrate Judge Stephen C. Dries has 2:26-cv-01796.
What happens next: the early Subpoena Stage
Because the defendant in each case is known only by an IP address, Strike 3 Holdings has to ask the court for permission to subpoena the internet provider before the normal discovery conference. On October 5, 2026, Strike 3 filed a motion for leave to serve a third-party subpoena, with a supporting brief and declarations, in all 7 Wisconsin cases.
Judge Pepper’s order also sets out a process. AT&T Internet must give a copy of the subpoena to the subscriber as soon as possible after it is served. The provider and the subscriber then have 14 days from the date of service to object. AT&T Internet may not hand over the subscriber’s information during that 14-day period, or, if an objection is served, until the court orders it. The order also notes that the person who pays for the internet account may not be the person who downloaded anything, because many devices and people can share one IP address.
| Docket | Judge | Motion filed | Status | Order |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2:26-cv-01795 | Judge Brett H. Ludwig | 10/5/2026 | Granted 10/6/2026 | ISP subpoena order |
| 2:26-cv-01796 | Magistrate Judge Stephen C. Dries | 10/5/2026 | Pending | — (pending) |
| 2:26-cv-01797 | Chief Judge Pamela Pepper | 10/5/2026 | Granted 10/15/2026 | ISP subpoena order |
| 2:26-cv-01798 | Judge Lynn Adelman | 10/5/2026 | Pending | — (pending) |
| 2:26-cv-01799 | Judge J.P. Stadtmueller | 10/5/2026 | Pending | — (pending) |
| 2:26-cv-01800 | Judge Lynn Adelman | 10/5/2026 | Pending | — (pending) |
| 2:26-cv-01801 | Judge Lynn Adelman | 10/5/2026 | Pending | — (pending) |
The motions in the other five cases were still pending on the docket as of October 16, 2026: 2:26-cv-01796 (Magistrate Judge Stephen C. Dries), 2:26-cv-01798, 01800, and 01801 (Judge Lynn Adelman), and 2:26-cv-01799 (Judge J.P. Stadtmueller). Each judge decides these motions separately, so timing and terms can differ from case to case. If you get a letter from your internet provider, it should include the case number and a date. Read it carefully and note that date. This is general information, not legal advice for any one case.
Defense Attorney Jeffrey Antonelli: Admission in All Wisconsin Federal Courts
These seven cases are in the Eastern District of Wisconsin, at the Milwaukee courthouse.
Defense attorney Jeffrey Antonelli was admitted in the Western District of Wisconsin on July 9, 2013. The certificate was signed in Madison on July 12, 2013, by Peter Oppeneer, Clerk of Court. It is here: Western District of Wisconsin admission certificate.
Jeffrey was admitted in the Eastern District of Wisconsin on September 16, 2013. The certificate was signed in Milwaukee on September 16, 2013, by Jon W. Sanfilippo, Clerk of Court. It is here: Eastern District of Wisconsin admission certificate.
Jeffrey is also admitted to the federal trial bar as well as the general federal bar in the United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois. According to the Court, “Admission to the Northern District of Illinois District Court’s Trial Bar is a distinction of prestige and experience.” In practice, it means that without being a member of the trial bar, an attorney could not appear in court to examine witnesses or conduct a trial, what the Court calls “testimonial proceedings.”
On a personal note, Jeffrey is a competitive race car driver competing at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. He began his racing career at the age of 46, gaining many friends outside of law. His racing reinforces his competitive spirit; but the friendships and outdoor Wisconsin activities nurture his soul and happiness too.
An admission certificate for that federal district court is not necessary for a lawyer to appear in federal court, although an active attorney license is required. In fact, it is very common for attorneys to represent clients in multiple federal court around the country. As an example, here is one attorney not affiliated with Antonelli Law in any way but is a partner in a nationally renowned United States Supreme Court and appellate practice group – her representative cases listed are for federal appellate courts located in California, Chicago, Colorado, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Her office is located in downtown Chicago. The technical term for this federal admission practice is called pro hac vice. This is true even for appearing before the United States Supreme Court. Its pro hac vice rule is found at Rule 6 and may be read here.

great experience with Antonelli
“I hired Jeffrey Antonelli for a copyright infringement issue (Strike3) in Massachusetts. It was a very good decision. He has dealt with many such cases and immediately put me at ease. He ended up negotiating a settlement that was much less than what I told him was my limit. He understood my privacy concerns and ensured that my name stayed out of any communication with opposing counsel, court filings etc. The whole issue was wrapped up within 3 weeks. He charges a non-negligible fee, but it is 100% worth it if you want to settle quickly and quietly and move on.”
