Paradise Invaded: Dallas Buyers Club Files in Hawaii
On July 23 2014, Dallas Buyers Club LLC filed two federal copyright lawsuits in Hawaii, targeting 42 unnamed Doe defendants. The same day, Dallas Buyers Club LLC filed an additional eight new federal copyright lawsuits in Illinois, targeting 262 unnamed Doe defendants.
These new lawsuits brings the total number of people targeted nationwide to 2,810 in Dallas Buyers Club LLC lawsuits.

Like each previous federal lawsuit filed by Dallas Buyers Club LLC, the company alleges these as-yet anonymous Doe defendants illegally downloaded the movie Dallas Buyers Club using BitTorrent or similar peer-to-peer file-sharing programs without paying the appropriate license fee.
