Strike 3 Holdings LLC Copyright Infringement Cases in Pennsylvania

Strike 3 Holdings LLC is filing lawsuits against Pennsylvania defendants which allege the illegal download of their adult films, typically through BitTorrent file-sharing software. If you’ve received a subpoena from your ISP with a notification about a Strike 3 Holdings LLC copyright infringement lawsuit, it most likely means someone used your IP address to download content illegally.

The company is requesting your personal details from your ISP (such as Comcast, Cox, Verizon, etc.). Typically, once you have received this notice, you will have 30 days or less after receiving the notification to determine how you want to handle the lawsuit.

Strike 3 holdings LLC recently filed several lawsuits in U.S. Middle District Court, which were all against Comcast customers. According to Penn Live, Strike 3 is filing for the illegal download of movies from their websites Blacked, Tushy, Vixen and Blacked Raw. The Penn Live article states:

“The brands are famous for redefining adult content, creating high-end, artistic and performer-inspiring motion pictures produced with a Hollywood style budget and quality,” Strike 3 attorney Andrew W. Bonekemper wrote. He added that one of Strike 3’s owners, director Greg Lansky, “has been dubbed the adult film industry’s ‘answer to Steven Spielberg”.

Strike 3 claims its products ‘are among the most pirated (internet) content in the world.’ The same headache afflicts non-X-rated movies and TV, it notes.

The firm is asking Conner to order the alleged pirates to “stop downloading Strike 3’s products illegally, delete the films they’ve already stolen and pay unspecified monetary damages and attorney’s fees.”
