I provided Mr. Antonelli with the information to my case. He was very thorough in explaining the situation and the process in which a case proceeds. He highlighted some of the irregularities in mine. He explained the various different possibilities and scenarios that could occur and methods in which to tackle the case in those situations.

He definitely went above and beyond my expectations. He was very polite, courteous and insightful. The positive reviews he has received are not wrong. I am glad I contacted him for a consultation.

Received a letter from my ISP informing me that they had received a subpoena from Strike 3 Holdings requesting my identity for the purpose of a lawsuit for copyright infringement. Not having ever been subjected to anything like this, and with a squeaky clean reputation, I began my research online. Once I began to understand the ramifications of ignoring this, fighting in court, or retaining an attorney versed in this field of law, I chose the latter.

I then began my due diligence researching law firms covering this area of law. From my original 5, I whittled it down to 2 choices; a firm in my hometown of New York or Jeffrey Antonelli.

I first contacted the New York Firm and spoke to an attorney who informed me that each alleged infringement would cost a minimum of $500, plus their fee. She added that because she dealt frequently with the lawyers at Strike 3, she might be able to settle for a little less, perhaps $1000. Next question was direct and to the point: Do I have the money to pay for the immediate settlement she could get? If not, there was nothing further to discuss. Not the best “beside manner” would you agree?

I then went to Mr. Antonelli’s website, which was professionally laid out with client reviews, frequently asked questions, biographies of the attorneys in the firm, and excellent video explaining the entire process, their familiarity with it, and how they best represent their clients. Viewing the website gave me an excellent understanding of how to proceed.

Next, I setup a telephonic interview with Mr. Antonelli. During the phone interview, we both asked questions, and just as important, he sensed my anxiety and alleviated it with his explanations and experience. Decision made, I had my attorney.

Mr. Antonelli quickly followed up the initial conversation with request for documents and further questions that might favorably affect the outcome of the case, all the time stressing that if I felt uncomfortable with any info, to disregard. I felt so comfortable with Mr. Antonelli, I realized he had the best interest of his client foremost. He had my trust.

With my unique background and health problems (9/11 first responder with cancer and pulmonary issues), Mr. Antonelli explained what the results of his settlement negotiations could range from, and after being notified of the initial settlement offer from Strike 3, Mr. Antonelli asked my permission to mention some of the above, which I granted.

The next day I received an email from Mr. Antonelli stating that a settlement had been reached that was just 1/8th of the original settlement offer from Strike 3.

The entire process from retaining Mr. Antonelli to settling this case was just one week. Not only do I now know an outstanding Attorney, I feel I have gained a friend who took extra time during our conversations to get to know me. Not for one second do I believe that any other Attorney could have done more or better. I stated at the beginning of this review, I researched 5 firms online, 3 of which were from my hometown New York area, and one of them I telephonically consulted with. None of them could match the experience that Mr. Antonelli offers, or the results that I received.
