Clear Skies Nevada LLC Files More Cases in Illinois

Clear Skies Nevada LLC is a company filing federal copyright infringement lawsuits involving the film titled “Good Kill.”  The company  started filing copyright infringement lawsuits in late June 2015 by attorney Michael Hierl and to date, 15 total cases have been filed with a total of 360 Doe defendants.

Illinois is an active jurisdiction for a number of different copyright trolls. The first 7 cases were filed in late June and involved 168 Does. Eight more cases were filed July 31^st and involve 192 Does.

Like other BitTorrent peer-to-peer file-sharing cases, Clear Skies Nevada LLC accuses defendants of copyright infringement by using software and the internet to obtain the film “Good Kill” without paying the appropriate license fee.
