Criminal Productions Inc Files Its First Status Report

Attorney for Criminal Productions Inc., Lee Herman, dutifully filed the first such Status Reports on March 17th indicating it has served Comcast with its subpoena to reveal the unnamed internet subscribers’ identities:

This is a Very Unusual Thing For a Judge

This is such an unusual step for a federal judge to make we cannot help but wonder if the judge shares some of the concerns raised in Loyola Law Professor Matthew Sag’s recent publication Defense Against the Dark Arts of Copyright Trolling?

What Are These Lawsuits About?

Critics of these lawsuits say its about the movie company generating more revenue. The movie company says it is filing these lawsuits to stop piracy of its intellectual property.

Federal Court Allows Antonelli Law to Represent You Effectively Without Being More Expensive Than a Qualified Local Law Firm

BitTorrent copyright lawsuits are only filed in federal court.

Antonelli Law is more efficient than the traditional copyright lawyers you might find locally who must first learn the unique cases applicable to BitTorrent copyright defense (and likely charge you for their time do to so), as well as learn the technology and ins and outs of practicing in this niche practice area.

Hiring Antonelli Law not only means you get zealous representation looking out for you. Hiring Antonelli Law means you don’t have to pay a local law firm to “catch up” on what BitTorrent technology is, the years of federal court cases around the country that apply to BitTorrent copyright infringement claims, nor the typical litigation strategies and technical attestations in a Criminal Productions Inc lawsuit.

Finally, federal courts require attorneys to file their papers electronically, and often conduct hearings by telephone. This makes frequent trips to the courthouse unnecessary. When they are, we’ll be there.
