Antonelli Law is pleased to introduce our Nevada and Utah local counsel Byron L. Ames for our BitTorrent Copyright Defense Group. Byron is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts of the District of Nevada, Central District of Utah, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Byron will assist us in defending Nevada clients facing claims of BT copyright infringement in federal lawsuits filed by Cell Film Holdings LLC, Criminal Productions Inc, LHF Productions Inc., QOTD Film Investment Ltd., PTG Nevada, and other copyright plaintiffs.

Byron is a Managing Partner in his law firm Ames & Ames with offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Kamas, Utah. He is responsible for management of the Firm’s Nevada and Utah offices. His practice includes all phases of general litigation and transactional work, with an emphasis in the transportation, hospitality and construction industries.

Mr. Ames previously was a Partner in a mid-sized Western-Regional law firm where he managed that firm’s Las Vegas, NV and Salt Lake City, UT offices. Mr. Ames was also an Intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington. Mr. Ames now handles cases in state and federal courts in Nevada and Utah, as well as matters before state and federal administrative agencies. Mr. Ames has taken numerous cases to trial before juries and the bench, and has successfully arbitrated and mediated countless cases.
